The most liked picture ever in Instagram history with 9.6 million likes and counting, you may be wondering, who is the genius behind Beyoncé's beautiful nude floral and underwater pictures?  Meet the amazing Awol Erizku.

Born in Ethiopia, raised in Bronx, NY and now residing in Los Angeles, Erizku is dubbed the 'It Boy' of the art world. Not limiting himself to photography, he also works other art mediums such as sculptures, music, paintings and even filmmaking.

For the shoot, Beyoncé wanted to channel and integrate multiple art and artists elements for the shoot. Inspirations range from Frida Kahlo to Sandro Botticelli, including 'The Birth of Venus', which was recreated for one of the photos.

Congrats @Beyonce x1000!

This isn't the first time the 28-year-old photographer has worked with the Carters, and not the first time Beyoncé wanted to show her love for art. Erizku also shot Beyoncé and Jay-Z in front of the Mona Lisa at the Louvre in 2014.

Awol Erizku has certainly made history with Beyoncé’s radiant pregnancy photos, we’re sure to remember this moment long after the twins are born.
