The Ciara and Future custody battle has reportedly come to an end according to US Weekly.
The parents of baby Future have agreed to share custody of their son after months of battling one another. It is reported that their son will be with Ciara most of the time, while Future is on tour, and when Future is not on the road he will have access to see his child when he wants.
It’s good to see they were able to come to an agreement for the child’s sake. Even better, this agreement was reached before the child was old enough to know what was going on and before it got to out of control.
@IamAkademiks Glad they came to an agreement & the Free Baby Future movement can come to an end
If you’ve been following this feud, you know that Ciara and Future both had claims against one another during this case. In 2016, Ciara filed a defamation lawsuit against the rapper, claiming he went on twitter rants and did interviews speaking negatively about her. The $15 million defamation lawsuit led Future to countersue.
However last year was not all bad for the singer, Ciara married Russel Wilson in July of 2016 and the couple is expecting their first child. It must feel good to get the custody battle resolved and behind them, as the Wilsons are now able to solely focus on the arrival of their new addition.
Hopefully the social media issues between Future and Ciara are done for good, and they continue to move forward raising their son together.
