Off of the success of their latest album, De La Soul has offered up new visuals for their track “Drawn” from their Grammy nominated album And The Anonymous Nobody…

The song features the electronic band Little Dragon opening the track with an ethereal sounding R&B groove. The track stays in that mode for the majority of its running time, only giving over to a more contemporary hip hop groove and bars about 5 minutes in to the 6 minute track. Just like the album thinks outside the box of traditional hip hop, so too does the video. J Anders Urmacher directs the video, which shows the daily creative process of an artist, and is designed to help viewers “think outside the box”.
