6/30 is the official launch date for Jay-Z’s newest album, 4:44, which means the world is about to be on fire.
I’m honestly pretty shocked that Jay put out a date for the album drop, considering how successful his wife Beyonce has been in the past for just dropping albums out of nowhere, but at least that gives us time to get the right subscriptions in order to get our first listen.
The teaser has been called “Kill Jay Z,” and it seems to be that HOV has gone back to using the hyphen in between the Y and Z in his name.
According to E!, it’s also widely anticipated that 4:44 will be a full visual album, similar to Lemonade and that any imagery for the album will be rated NC-17.
