After some frightening reports that SoundCloud only had enough money left to last another few months, it seems as if fans of the streaming platform can breathe a sigh of relief. Grammy winner and Chicago native Chance The Rapper has stepped in. He took to Twitter today after meeting with SoundCloud CEO Alex Ljung tweeting:

This is good news for fans of the streaming platform which allows musicians to post their music and users to share those songs much like Twitter users re-tweet tweets. The platform has been instrumental for allowing growing musicians and podcasts to easily share their audio among websites and social media. SoundCloud announced early this year that it had brokered a deal with music publishing companies to allow DJs to more easily use the platform to host their sets and remixes.
