The #Detroit2Houston event will be held SATURDAY, September 2 in the parking lot of the Airtime Trampoline & Game Park in Troy, Michigan (662 E. Big Beaver Rd) from 9am-4pm.
They need the following items:
BACKPACKS stuffed with toiletries!
Toiletries – Tooth paste, Tooth brushes. body soap, shampoo, lotion, brushes, combs
Diapers and baby wipes – anything for babies
Sheets
Pillows
Socks
T-shirts
Stick lighters/Glow sticks
Small First Aid Kits
Towels & Wash Clothes – (New)
Anyone who brings a backpack with at least five items will be able to play at AirTime until 4 p.m. Saturday.
A GoFundMe page for #Detroit2Houston is also collecting monetary donations for those who can’t make it to the clothing drive.
The effort is also asking for volunteers to help organize items at the Saturday event.
