...and then struck a teen boy with her car when she thought she got ripped off. Stephanie Stinson, 33, told her teen daughter that she wanted to buy some marijuana on Sunday and asked the girl to arrange the deal, which she set up at a local laundromat.
Stinson then forked over $20 for a bag of weed, but was angry when she didn’t get the change she expected and tried to block the alleged dealer’s vehicle from leaving the scene. That’s when cops said she struck 15-year-old Austin Lopez with her Dodge Avenger. Stinson then fled the scene as her daughter called police to report Lopez’s injuries.
She was later found, arrested, and charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving injury -- as well as contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
