18-year-old Waffle House Waitress Evoni Williams went viral this week for an act of kindness caught on video.

Over the weekend, Williams stopped in the middle of a busy day to help an elderly customer who couldn't use his hands.  As Williams helped cut up the man's food, and another diner caught it on video.

Since then, the video has been shared over 46,000 times.  The city of LaMarque, Texas proclaimed Thursday to be "Evoni "Nini" Williams Day".  And Texas Southern University has offered her at $16,000 scholarship.

Williams said "that's just me" and that her act of kindness "came from the heart".

Is there someone in your life who's always willing to drop everything and lend a helping hand?  Should we all learn from Evoni?
