DBag Of The Day: Dummy Lights Stairs On Fire to Avoid SWAT team The Gello Show
He claimed to be a "sovereign citizen," meaning he's not governed by the laws of the United States. And he wouldn't come out, so a SWAT team had to go in and get him.
Once they were inside, they smelled GASOLINE. And when they tried to go upstairs to arrest him, he tried to hold them off by setting his STAIRS on fire.
His plan actually worked in the short term, because they had to go back outside until the fire was out.
But while he was burning the stairs, he also set his FEET on fire by mistake. And the burns were bad enough that he decided to surrender.
He yelled that he was coming out, then limped outside and let them arrest him. He's facing charges for criminal trespassing and resisting arrest. Plus a second-degree arson charge for his stupid stair fire idea.
