Chance The Rapper clarifies comments regarding Kanye West
Chance The Rapper got caught up in the Kanye West tweet storm and was personally thanked by President Donald Trump.
Responding to Trump’s Friday tweet in which he thanked him, Chance replied, “Nah that ain’t it yo.”
Chance then used his notes from his phone to write several paragraphs speaking about his attempt to support Kanye turned into a rallying cry to “discredit my brothers and sisters in the movement.”
Regarding Trump, Chance said he would “never support anyone who has made a career out of hatred, racism and discrimination.” When it comes to Kanye, Chance said he is “family – no matter how much I may disagree with him.”
Chance’s statement is LONG! Read through it and decide for yourself.
