Chris Tucker still doesn't know if he's going to take part in the movie saying, "I don't know, I talked to Ice Cube about it."

In a new interview with John Witherspoon shed light on why Tucker left the franchise. "Friday cost $2 million to make and we got paid $5,000 a piece to do that movie."

Witherspoon also noted that Tucker's departure came after he was offered $20 million to do Rush Hour alongside Jackie Chan. "I wouldn't go back to Friday either," Witherspoon said. "It's all about the money."
