This Tuesday (May 29th) Starbucks will close its stores to conduct racial bias training.
This training comes after the infamous Philadelphia incident when two black men were arrested for waiting at the restaurant.
The curriculum for the training has been released by Starbucks. Common will be a part of the training.
Common appears in a video designed to help "people see each other fully, completely and respectfully."
Employees will get an education on the history of discrimination in America; particularly against Black people.
Do you think the training will help? Do you think people who aren't paying attention to the news will be in an uproar because they won't be able to get their coffee on Tuesday?
