Leave it to the Internet to be the jury on trivial things such as songs that sound the same. In this case, Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” vs New Jersey rapper, Jase Harley’s “American Pharoah.”

Although the songs have different rhythms there are some similarities between the two tracks, including the artist’s flow and the content of the songs.

Gambino has yet to comment on the songs, his manager Fam Udeorji, was to combat assumptions on social media, clapping back at fans that suggested that Gambino took the song from the New Jersey rapper.

“This song is 3 yrs old, and we have pro tools files to prove it. But f___ you and your moms, and your future fetuses. stay blessed.” Uderoji wrote on Twitter.
