New Chance The Rapper is on the way.
Chance recently sat down with the Chicago Tribune and announced that he will be releasing an album this week.
According to Complex, the project will drop in conjunction with the 50th Anniversary of the Special Olympics which is being held in Chicago.
“I got that feeling when people do something that has a new feel to it, I’m excited for everybody to get that. It’s going to come out just in time for the Special Olympics,” said Chance.
Not too long ago, Chance sat down with Peter Rosenberg and revealed that Kanye West told him that he wanted to do a joint project with him while they were both in Wyoming working on Kanye’s album. I assume that Kanye would produce the album, but I’m hoping that he will be featured on a few records as well.
Chance said during the interview, “I don’t know of a timeline on it yet, the trajectory of it, but he’s coming here to work on it some more. We’ve just started making it, but I don’t want to manipulate the situation and impose any time frame, because that can hinder you.”
Spoken like a veteran in the game, Chance has come a long way and it’s great to see.
I’m extremely excited to hear what the album brings to the table.
