Eminem’s Latest Battle Is Over E13 Clothing Line Trademark
Eminem is battling a Detroit based businessman and creator over his E13 trademark.
Clement (Fame) Brown is a fashion designer and owner of Three Thirteen shop. Brown has had his trademark since 2010 and he’s currently contesting a trademark application by Eminem who is filing for his own E13 brand.
Eminem’s logo features a backward “E” which gives the illusion of “313”, Brown’s logo is a series of slash marks that represent 313, with is one of Detroit’s area code. Eminem, who launched his clothing brand ‘E13’ in 2016, “will defend against the opposition, to protect his mark,” according to Eminem’s lawyer, Barbara Friedman.
