NORRISTOWN, PA - SEPTEMBER 24: Bill Cosby departs the Montgomery County Courthouse on the first day of sentencing in his sexual assault trial on September 24, 2018 in Norristown, Pennsylvania. In April, Cosby was found guilty on three counts of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004. 60 women have accused the 80 year old entertainer of sexual assault. According to TMZ, Bill Cosby will be 91 when he is released.

The judge in Bill Cosby’s sexual assault case just sentenced Bill Cosby 3 to 10 years in Pennsylvania state prison, and has denied Cosby bail.

The judge also had some comments based on Cosby’s celebrity status:

“I’m not permitted to treat him any differently based on who he is or who he was… As she [Constand] said, Mr. Cosby, you took her beautiful, healthy young spirit and crushed it…. (to Constand) I heard the very clear impact on your life.”

In addition to being publicly disgraced, Cosby’s name will appear on a sex-offender registry, which is sent to neighbors and schools, as well as having to go to lifetime counseling, and must report quarterly to authorities.
