Burger King Debuts ‘Nightmare’ Burger with a Green Bun

What’s the bigger nightmare, the green bun or that you can get beef, pork, AND chicken on the same sandwich?

With Halloween right around the corner, this nightmare of a burger is for sure on many people’s “must do” list this fall season.

Can a burger actually give you nightmares? That's what the BURGER KING® brand set out to prove with an unusual research study for its latest Halloween limited time offer, called the Nightmare King. Based on the unique build of the sandwich, which consists of a mix of proteins like bacon, chicken and beef, plus cheese, the hypothesis was that this new burger could cause nightmares.

The “Nightmare King” features a green bun, a quarter-pound of beef, a chicken fillet, American cheese, bacon, mayonnaise and onions.

You, too, can get the burger (and have it delivered for free if you use Postmates between October 22nd-25th) for $6.39 starting on Oct. 22.
