The New York Knicks aren’t playing around with trying to get Kevin Durant to come to their city.
With Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors visiting Madison Square Garden tonight, Knicks fans decided to seize their opportunity to try and court KD to the big apple.
Coming off of back-to-back championships and going for their third in a row, there have been rumors that this is KD’s last season with the Warriors and that the team with the best odds to land him in FA this year is the New York Knicks.
Over the last few years, both KD and LeBron have signed 2-year deals with player options their second year so that they hold their fate with the given organization, but with LeBron signing a four year deal with the Lakers, it would only make sense for KD to sign a long-term deal with the Knicks and try to renew the Lakers VS. Knicks rivalry again. It would be great for basketball!
