Good news…Gas prices are the LOWEST in metro Detroit since February!
The cost of gas has been on a steady decline over the last month after hitting a peak of more than $3 per gallon in May.
Metro Detroit’s prices have closely followed national trends, but in recent weeks, our prices have decreased faster than the country’s average.
Low crude oil costs have caused the sharp decrease in about 19 states, according to AAA Michigan.

Wild Lights at the Detroit Zoo is back!
The Detroit Zoo will light up the night again this holiday season with Wild Lights, a spectacular light display.
For 24 nights, more than five million LED lights will illuminate trees, buildings and 265 sculptures – more than 220 of which are animals – throughout the front half of the Zoo.
Children under 2 years of age are FREE!

- November 17-18, 23-25, 30
- December 1-2, 7-9, 14-16, 20-23, 26-31
Wild Lights times:
- 5:30 to 9 p.m. select weeknights and Sundays
- 5:30 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays
