When a twist of fate meets Bizzaro World, you can get a 1 cent Whopper by going to Mcdonald's. Yes you read that right. You can get a Burger King Whopper from McDonald's for 1 cent now through December 12th. Today Burger King announced that they are turning more that 14,000 McDonalds locations into Burger King restaurants. This according to businessinsider.com ...

Now to get this 1 cent Whopper you have to have the Burger King app downloaded onto your phone. You also have to be within 600 ft of a McDonald's.

"If a guest is inside one of these geofenced areas and has the new BK App on their device, the app will unlock the Whopper sandwich for a penny promotion. Once the 1¢ Whopper sandwich order is placed, the user will be 'detoured' away from McDonald's, as the app navigates them to the nearest Burger King restaurant for pick up." This according to a BK press release today. So enjoy and happy eating!
