When a twist of fate meets Bizzaro World, you can get a 1 cent Whopper by going to Mcdonald’s. Yes you read that right. You can get a Burger King Whopper from McDonald’s for 1 cent now through December 12th. Today Burger King announced that they are turning more that 14,000 McDonalds locations into Burger King restaurants. This according to businessinsider.com …

Now to get this 1 cent Whopper you have to have the Burger King app downloaded onto your phone. You also have to be within 600 ft of a McDonald’s.

“If a guest is inside one of these geofenced areas and has the new BK App on their device, the app will unlock the Whopper sandwich for a penny promotion. Once the 1¢ Whopper sandwich order is placed, the user will be ‘detoured’ away from McDonald’s, as the app navigates them to the nearest Burger King restaurant for pick up.” This according to a BK press release today. So enjoy and happy eating!
