A Visalia, California high school teacher is in jail after forcibly cutting a student's hair in class.
Video surfaced showing 52-year-old Margaret Gieszinger chasing students with scissors between desks while bizarrely belting out "The Star Spangled Banner" at University Preparatory High School. Officials have announced that Gieszinger will not return to the classroom.
In a video recorded by a classmate, Gieszinger is seen insisting that a boy sit in front of the class, then cuts off some of his hair. She proceeds to chase others around the room, all while still singing.
