It really is a creative marketing move by the company if you ask me … They’re officially changing their name to Pizza Hut Hut.
Clearly they’re hoping to sell more pizza with The Big Game just around the corner.
Kudos to them not fumbling around with this stunt the way IHop did last year. Incase you forgot IHop changed its name to IHOB in an attempt to switch to a house of burgers instead of pancakes. Which made absolutely no sense then and still doesn’t now!
Anyways when you think about it, it’s an awesome play on words with “Hut Hut Hike” which most of us know is a terminology strongly associated with football.
