CHICAGO, IL – SEPTEMBER 13: Electronic cigarettes and pods by Juul, the nation’s largest maker of vaping products, are offered for sale at the Smoke Depot on September 13, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has ordered e-cigarette product makers to devise a plan to keep their devices away from minors, declaring use by teens has reached an “epidemic proportion”. Study Links E-Cigarettes To Heart Attacks

Strokes Electronic cigarettes, or 'E-cigs', are generally thought of as a healthier alternative to smoking.  But a new study links vaping can give you a higher risk of heart attack or stroke.

The study says non-smokers who regularly use e-cigs have a 29 percent higher risk of stroke and 25 percent higher risk of heart attack. For those who smoke regular cigarettes AND use e-cigs, the risk jumps up to 60-70 percent. This is crazy because I thought E-cigs was a healthier way of smoking other than the traditional cigarettes!

Recently, the CDC began to crack down on the use of e-cigs by young people, with reports that up to 11 percent of high school students have used a vape in the last month. Lots of people posted their opinion on the use of these products.

Are you an e-cig user?  Does this make you want to quit using them all together?
