Drake took home the Grammy for Best Rap Song at the 2019 Grammys for his hit single "God's Plan".

The rapper, singer, and songwriter's appearance was a surprise because he was reportedly not going to show up, and often blows off the Grammys.

Drizzy graced the stage in a black suit with his signature black turtleneck and a diamond necklace.

"This is a business where sometimes....it’s up to a bunch of people that might not understand what a mixed race kid from Canada has to say," Drake said.

Drake went on to say that aspiring artists don't necessarily need a Grammy, and then the artist was cut off.

Watchers shared positive sentiments about the rapper on Twitter.
