Zaytoven Plays ‘Tiny Desk’ Concert Solo After Future Doesn’t Show Up
Both Zaytoven and Future were scheduled to do an NPR Tiny Desk concert, but Future was a no show.
The producer and rapper were booked to perform on the same day that Future’s latest album, The Wizrd was released, back in January. After waiting on the Atlanta rapper for several hours, the show had to go on.
Although Future didn’t show up, Zaytoven and the band held it down. They performed two songs from Future’s Beast Mode album and “Mo Reala” from Zaytoven’s 2018 album Trapholizay, according to NPR’s Rodney Carmichael.
Neil Garrard was on guitar, Bernard “TreWay” Lambert was on drums, and DJ Spinz and Elena were on the flute(s).
