The couple allegedly agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters apart of the University of Southern California crew team

There was a college admission scheme that surfaced on Tuesday that involves a total of 50 people who were all indicted.

Those arrested includes… Two SAT/ACT administrators, one exam proctor, nine coaches at elite schools, one college administrator, and 33 parents, says Andrew Lelling.

According to TMZ, these rich parents are calling around colleges to get their children into these different colleges by any means necessary.

“One was to cheat on the SAT or ACT, and the other was to use his connections with Division I coaches and use bribes to get these parents’ kids into school with fake athletic credentials,” said US Attorney Andrew Lelling referring to William Rick Singer, the ring leader of the scheme.

These parents are able to cover up the bribes up by pretending that the money is for charity.

Authorities believe that from investigating some of evidence found will lead them to other parents, college employees, and others who might have participated in admissions bribery.
