R Kelly, who has taken a break from social media since the documentary series “Surviving R Kelly” came out, posted a video on Instagram wishing his daughter a happy birthday.
His daughter changed her last name and even went on social media calling him a monster, and admitting that she hasn’t spoken to him in years. He owes over $160 in child support and says he’s “struggling financially.”
His lawyer said he has almost no money at this point and doesn’t even own the rights to “I believe I can fly.” Almost everyone saw through the Instagram video he posted and how manipulative and disingenuous it was, wondering, “who gave R Kelly a phone” and “who keeps letting R Kelly out of prison?” His lawyer also said “Denying him the opportunity to work would be a hardship on his children.”
