Will you just stick with the chicken? lol
Chick-fil-A is expanding its vegetarian and vegan menu items with the new “Kale Crunch Side.” The kale salad is being tested in select Chick-fil-A locations in Florida, Iowa, and Texas as a new side option. If you order a kale salad at Chick-fil-A and you’re not vegetarian or vegan,
we can’t be friends I commend you for your healthy choice!
According to Chick-fil-A, the Kale Crunch salad is made with a blend of curly kale and green cabbage. It’s topped with salted, crunchy almonds and has an Apple Dijon Dressing. The chain recommends ordering the new side with the Grilled Nuggets or the Original Chicken Sandwich. The Kale Crunch would also be a good choice for a nice, healthy snack.
Menu lead for the menu and packaging team at Chick-fil-A Leslie Neslag said in a statement: “We are thrilled to introduce the Kale Crunch Side to our guests looking for a healthier side alternative that is still convenient.” The salad is available in small- or large-sized servings with prices starting at $1.85. Each size has less than 150 calories, including the toppings.
After the tests in Orlando, Daytona, Space Coast, and Gainesville, Florida; Eastern Iowa; and Tyler-Longview, Texas, Chick-fil-A will review customer feedback on the salad and decide whether or not the Kale Crunch Side will be added to menus nationwide.
