Chris Rock Takes Dig at Jussie Smollett at NAACP Image Awards…
Saturday night was the 50th NAACP Image Awards hosted by Anthony Anderson.
Chris Rock was a presenter but he had to get something off his chest before he could present the category that Jussie was nominated in.
He told the crowd that he was advised “no Jussie Smollett jokes” but, in true Chris Rock fashion, he went for it anyway.
He started by saying, “what a waste of light skin. You know what I could do with that light skin and curly hair in Hollywood? He said from now on he’s “Jessie not Jussie. That ‘u’ was respect.”
Jussie was not in attendance and he did not win the award he was nominated for.
Are you disappointed in Chris Rock making jokes about Jussie after he was told not to OR would you have been more disappointed if he didn’t say anything at all?
