Big Sean Was Back In Detroit Over The Weekend!

Big Sean says he’s committed to inspiring young people to do big things, and helping young entrepreneurs from historically black colleges, among other things…

Big Sean’s establishment ‘Moguls in the Making’ promotes financial literacy among students.

‘Moguls in the Making’ has been in development for three years, where students compete for internships and scholarships.

The winning team will walk away with internships at Ally Financial, a $5,000 scholarship and brand new laptops.

“I’m just somebody truthfully that believes in giving back, you get what you give,” Big Sean said.

“People sharing their information to the next generation, and onto the next, I just want to keep that going,” said Sean. “If I can help somebody that gives my life way more purpose than just focusing on myself.”

Giving back to Detroit is something Sean is known for.

We appreciate all that Big Sean does for Detroit and look forward to finding out who the next recipients from the D will be!

Chris Rock Takes Dig at Jussie Smollett at NAACP Image Awards…

Saturday night was the 50th NAACP Image Awards hosted by Anthony Anderson.

Chris Rock was a presenter but he had to get something off his chest before he could present the category that Jussie was nominated in.

#PressPlay: Last night they told #ChrisRock no #JussieSmollett jokes...so ya'll know he came through with the Jussie Smollett jokes!! (????: @tvonetv/ @naacpimageawards)

He told the crowd that he was advised “no Jussie Smollett jokes” but, in true Chris Rock fashion, he went for it anyway.

He started by saying, “what a waste of light skin. You know what I could do with that light skin and curly hair in Hollywood? He said from now on he’s “Jessie not Jussie. That ‘u’ was respect.”

Jussie was not in attendance and he did not win the award he was nominated for.

Are you disappointed in Chris Rock making jokes about Jussie after he was told not to OR would you have been more disappointed if he didn’t say anything at all?
