Nipsey Hussle’s Funeral Procession To Stretch 25 Miles
Today (Apr. 11), the late Nipsey Hussle’s memorial service — called “Nipsey Hussle’s Celebration of Life” will take place, and his funeral procession will stretch 25 miles long
Immediately following the service, a 25.5-mile funeral procession will make its way through Inglewood, South Los Angles, and Watts, as CBS Los Angeles reports.
The route will start in Exposition Park, passing by USC, make its way towards Nipsey Hussle‘s childhood home, pass by the rapper’s store, Marathon Clothing and the site where he was murdered, and end at the Angelus Funeral Home.
Rolling street closures will be put in place along the funeral procession route, according to the Los Angeles Department of Transportation.
The 33-year-old Grammy-nominated rapper was fatally shot on Mar. 31 outside of his apparel store.
The rapper and entrepreneur’s funeral service takes place in Los Angeles at the Staples Center today (Apr. 11) from 10 am to 12 pm local time. The funeral will also be live streamed on BET and ET.
