The Oakland Athletics’ Triple-A affiliate, the Las Vegas Aviators, has an ADORABLE bat dog named Finn.
Finn's job is to retrieve the bat in between at-bats... It’s his job, and he does it darn well.
During a game against Sacramento, home-plate umpire Tom Woodring (aka "Debbie Downer") clearly saw Finn running to get the back, quickly picked up the bat and tossed it towards the on-deck circle.
It didn't seem to phase Finn, as he kept his cool, stayed "professional" and made the best of the situation...
Might be the loudest boo in the history of umpire's. I still love you guys though!! @MiLB @SportsCenter @MLB @AviatorsLV @LVBallpark @notthefakeSVP #umpire https://t.co/ACsm88seKi
