Detroit's Uber and Lyft drivers are joining in a two-hour strike with several major cities around the world on Wednesday.
Be prepared tomorrow morning if you normally rely on uber or lyft to get you from plan A to B.
A lot of drivers will log off the apps from 7AM to 9AM on Wenesday, May 8th.
This protest is for hopes of better wages and benefits including paid time off.
The protests are being held the day before Uber goes public, according to reports, the company could be valued at $90 million.
Here in Detroit, drivers plan to meet up at the airport.
The movement has gained some support nationally with Bernie Sanders tweeting about it.
