Kroger is Eliminating Plastic Bags
Joining many other companies in their efforts to be plastic-free, Kroger will phase out the use of plastic bags in its stores by 2025. Currently, they order about 6 BILLION bags each year.
Kroger said Thursday that they will start the project at its Seattle chain QFC, where it expects to be plastic-bag free by next year.
Kroger joins Disney, Starbucks, Marriott, McDonald’s and more in the campaign to be plastic-free.
