Cap’n Crunch Recalled For Salmonella
Cereal fans should check their pantries…
The Quaker Oats Company recalled a small batch of Cap’n Crunch Peanut Butter Crunch due to a salmonella scare.
The boxes in question were sold at select Target stores.
The recalled boxes have the UPC code 0 30000 6211 1, and a “best before” date of July 30, 2019 or July 31, 2019.
The FDA reported that a routine sampling program by the company revealed the product may contain bacteria.
No consumers have reported a negative reaction after eating the cereal.
No other Quaker products are included in the recall.
