Cost Of Michigan Car Insurance Has Increased…
Starting TODAY, Michiganders will be paying more for their auto insurance!
The Michigan Catastrophic Claims Associations – which reimburses insurers for personal injury protection benefits – is increasing the annual fee to $220 per year…
This is a $28 increase from last year!

The association said the increase is required to cover an increasing number of claims, increased medical costs, and lower investment earnings.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer recently passed a bill that allows drivers to determine how much personal injury protection they want to pay for…
However, that will not begin until July 2020.

If a local government has not passed a local ordinance for fireworks, Michigan state law allows for fireworks to be used all year long!
Other dates include New Year’s Eve and the Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend.
Each year, fireworks can only be lit on July 5 if it falls on a Friday or Saturday; this year, July 5 is on a Friday.
Violations of local ordinances and state laws could result in a $1,000 civil fine per violation.
