No power? You’re not the only one!
In southeast Michigan, at least 250,000 customers, including residents in the Detroit area, started their day without power, according to a Monday morning update from DTE Energy. By noon, that number had dropped to 230,000 customers, DTE said in a later statement:
“As of 11:45 a.m., approximately 230,000 customers remain without power. Our continued goal is to restore power to 80% of the 600,000 total customers impacted by this weekend’s severe weather by end of day Monday. We expect to have 90% of all customers restored by end of day Tuesday, and the remainder by end of day Wednesday.”
