The app, How I Met My Dog custom matches you with the perfect shelter dog for you to adopt into your family!
Just as much as you want to find the perfect dog, the app wants to help a dog find the perfect family. “Every year, a staggering 4,000,000 dogs are surrendered to shelters or need to be rehomed by families who can no longer care for them,” the website says. “Sadly, only half of these dogs ever find another home.”
So how does this work? Their P.E.T. profile will ask you a series of questions to help match you with the ideal pup.
How social are you? Do you have kids?
And just like you have a profile, so does each dog.
- You take the survey.
- Check out your matches.
- Apply for the dog.
- Make the dog apart of your family!
Even if you don't find the perfect fit right away, you'll receive e-mail notifications each time you have a match.
