50 Cent recently took to social media to put the Emmy Awards on blast for snubbing his STARZ show Power.

The rapper who is also a producer and a star of Power shared a written post on Instagram that read, “STARZ original series “Power” premiere tanks #1 for the summer and #2 for premium cable series in 2019 among total viewers. The season six premiere drives more than 40% rise in viewership on STARZ OTT over last season. “Power” was the #1 most social series of the night, trending int he U.S. and worldwide on Twitter.”

“The EMMY’s can kiss my black a** in slow motion. Fuck em I’m #1. They a bunch of Bengay my back hurt smelling a** old people anyway. LOL,” 50 Cent wrote as the caption of his post.

Power has gained acclaim from viewers as well as industry critics, and the show that is led by Omari Hardwick and tells the stories of Ghost, Tasha, Tommy, and Angela is STARZ’s most highly-viewed show.

On Sunday, August 25, Power premiered on the network with it’s sixth and final season, raking in over 1.47 million viewers, as That Grape Juice reports.
