The Kansas Jayhawks are issuing an apology for Snoop Dogg’s performance.Snoop performed at the annual Late Night in the Phog; a preseason pep rally. Things turned “interesting” when Snoop’s dancers broke out the stripper poles and started performing–on the poles! The Director of Athletics said that he made it clear that the show was to be clean.
The crowd was into it and Snoop had a money gun making it rain so all seemed well. They even positioned Snoop’s performance at the end of the pep rally in case people did not want to see his performance. The Director of Athletics issued the following apology, I take full responsibility for not thoroughly vetting all the details of the performance and offer my personal apology to those who were offended. We strive to create a family atmosphere at Kansas and fell short of that this evening.
Who is to blame for the performance, Snoop or the school for hiring him to perform?
