Earlier this week, K. Michelle took to Instagram and wrote, “Friday’s Forecast: Looks like there’s a 100% chance of RAIN,” alongside a rain cloud emoji.

On Friday (Oct. 25), the R&B singer dropped her new single “The Rain,” which comes from her new forthcoming album All Monsters Are Human.

“Like a river my waterfalls will break down a levee / You gon’ get soaked, so bring a raincoat / When we finish you gon’ see a rainbow,” she sings on the track.

Produced by Jazze Pha, “The Rain,” samples New Edition’s hit single “Can You Stand The Rain.” All Monsters Are Human is K. Michelle’s fifth studio album.
