Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is an iconic rap group that will forever be remembered in hip-hop history.  Recently, Bone Thugs member Bizzy Bone controversially said that history will not be so kind to the hip-hop artists of today.

On a recent radio show appearance, Bizzy was asked if the rap artists of today would still have any relevance 25 years from now.  This was his answer:

“If I was a bettin’ man, I’d say no because social media now, it chews you up and spits you right on out.  Man, you better make good investments in one of these apps, pimpin’,” he said. “You gotta get your model on, pimpin’.  Better expand.”

These comments come a few months after Bizzy Bone got into a very public feud with the Atlanta rap group Migos.  The internet feud escalated to the point that Bizzy Bone threatened 21 Savage and Migos with a gun in an Instagram live story.  The police showed up at his home during the live recording.

What do you think about Bizzy Bone’s comments?  Do you think there is some truth to them, or is this the case of an artist from an older generation hating on the work of hip-hop’s newcomers?
