During the 2019 Soul Train Awards, Tank graced the stage to present the Best R&B/Soul Female Artist award alongside Keyshia Cole.

Once Tank took the stage, Cole asked him, “Is there anything you want to clear up tonight?” alluding to the “Birthday” singer’s previous controversial comments regarding oral sex between men.

“If a man has two dictionaries,” he said, stressing the first syllable, “it doesn’t mean he has a library! Maybe study but not a library,” Tank said.

A few weeks ago, during an interview, Tank said that oral sex between men “doesn’t make a man gay.”

“No, No. Here’s the thing. Twice is excessive but let’s dig into it right. He sucked a d— once and he said, “I’m not sure if I like it or not. Let me try it again. Not for me. Don’t like the taste,’” Tank explained.

“It doesn’t mean he’s gay. It means he sucked d— twice,” Tank continued. “The art of being gay is being gay. It’s a continuous state of being.”

As usual, people took to social media to talk about Tank’s commentary. Below check out what some people had to say about Tank’s recent clarification.
