VIDEO: Woman Who Got Skin Graft After Dog Bite Now has Pubic Hair Growing from Face
At the age of 9, Crystal Coombs was bitten in the face by a pit bull. After the incident, she needed skin grafts applied to her face.
For the skin graft, surgeons chose to use skin from her groin area.
At the time, however, they didn’t tell her that the grafted skin, in time, would start to grow hair.
Pubic hair.
Now a grown woman, Coombs is forced to deal with a large, discolored patch of skin that grows pubic hair–right on her cheek.
She is going to be a subject on the show “Botched”, in which doctors will hopefully help to fix her cheek and stop it from growing pubic hair.
