Beyoncè and Jay-Z got jokes. After Reese Witherspoon turned her thirstiness into a meme, the couple joined in on the fun. Bey and Jay sent Witherspoon champagne following their hilarious Golden Globes run-in.
When Witherspoon’s table at the awards show ran out of water she decided to hit Beyoncé up for her bubbly. “Reese!? This is one of the many reasons I love you,” Witherspoon’s Morning Show costar Jennifer Aniston wrote on Instagram. “We ran out of water at our table so naturally she asked Jay Z and Beyonce for a glass of their champagne.”
Later Witherspoon posted a meme of her sneaking up on Bey and Jay as they sipped their celebratory booze. “Hide your champagne, y’all!,” she joked.
When Witherspoon came home from New York she was met with a special delivery. “Ya’ll!! Came home to the best surprise from @beyonce and Jay-Z,” she wrote on her Insta Stories. It seems the couple sent her a case of Ace of Spades champagne, which Jay has a stake in, with a note that read “more water.”
