Offset was detained by Los Angeles police on Wednesday night (Jan. 29), as The Shade Room reports. The incident transpired at The Grove Shopping Center that’s located in the Fairfax, California area.

There’s a video that shows Offset and at least one other man getting handcuffed in what is thought to be one of the shopping center’s parking garages.

There were apparently witnesses at the scene who claim that police officers stopped the rapper due to reports of a weapon.

Early this morning (Jan. 30), The Father of 4 rapper took to his Instagram story to share a cryptic message, writing, “The devil is a liar. I’m covered by the blood of Jesus.” Perhaps the rapper, who is married to Cardi B, was referring to his recent detainment.

Cardi, who is typically outspoken has yet to speak on the incident.
