Are you kidding? It’s already embarrassing enough being a Browns fan.
CBS Sports reports that former Cleveland Browns starting offensive tackle Greg Robinson and free agent wide receiver Quan Bray were arrested at the Sierra Blanca border checkpoint near the United States and Mexico border this week, according to an official statement from the Department of Justice in the Western District of Texas.
They were in possession of 157 pounds of marijuana which was stored inside several large duffle bags in the rear cargo area of a vehicle they were driving. TMZ was first to report this story on Wednesday evening.
They approached the border and a canine unit suspected the weed. Both players were charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
Greg Robinson is set to become an unrestricted free agent and according to the NFL Network, the Browns had no plans on re-signing him.
I can tell you as a Browns fan that he wasn’t playing that well, so this isn’t a blow to the team. It’s more so frustrating and embarrassing because my friends will continue to clown me!
Greg doesn’t have football to worry about though. At this point, he’s facing 20 years in prison for this stunt!
