The sports world was turned upside-down yesterday when, citing Coronavirus, the NBA announced that it would be indefinitely suspending its season.
The news came out after it was discovered that Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert had contracted the virus.
Now, players who have been in contact with Gobert in the past 10 days are being told to self-quarantine for 14 days. This list of players includes the entire Detroit Pistons roster, who lost to the Jazz last Saturday at Little Caesar’s Arena.
While players have been told to self-quarantine, it is not clear at this time if Pistons staff or attendees of the game are expected to do the same. We will report on these details as soon as they become available.
