State Allows Michigan Marijuana Dispensaries to Offer Curbside Pickup and Delivery Due to Coronavirus
While many businesses are closing due to coronavirus, the legal weed industry in Michigan is simply adjusting to the problem.
Yesterday, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer made an executive order that allows all licensed dispensaries that sell either medicinal pot, recreational pot, or both, will have curbside pickup as an available option to them.
In addition to this provision, the state will be expediting applications for existing recreational and medical cannabusinesses that want to offer delivery to customers and patients.

Robin Schneider, executive director of the Michigan Cannabis Industry Association, expressed gratitude for the State’s marijuana-related coronavirus provisions.
“Everyone is having anxiety and stress right now over this entire situation,” she said. “And cannabis does have a calming effect on people. We don’t want people going back to opiates and this is an essential item that is very important to many of our citizens.”
What do you think about this? Do you think you will take advantage of curbside pickup and delivery services for legal cannabis?
