Girl Scout cookie season was cut short this year due to health concerns related to the coronavirus — This resulted in the shut down of cookie booths to limit person-to-person contact…

To continue cookie sales while keeping girls and customers safe, the organization started a cookie delivery and donation service. There is also a digital cookie sale platform that can be used to support a specific scout toward reaching her goal…

The program, called Girl Scout Cookie Care, makes ordering cookies for safe home delivery possible in eligible areas. You can also donate the cookies by purchasing them and opting to send them to first responders, veterans and senior citizens! <—- (so awesome!)

Some people love Girl Scout cookies so much that celebrities like Jennifer Garner put together a way to get boxes to people who don’t have them accessible near them…

What an awesome way to spread the love and let special and deserving people know, you are thinking about them.

*The Girl Scout cookie program is the largest fundraiser for the Girl Scouts of the USA annually, and helps provide financial resources to keep the Girl Scouts running.  Every year, girls decide exactly what to do with their earnings—and 100 percent of the money stays local! In fact, cookies have helped Girl Scouts give back to our communities ever since the first-known sale of cookies by Girl Scouts in 1917.
