Tyler Perry Tips Atlanta Restaurant Employees $21,000
On Sunday (Apr. 5), Tyler Perry went to a Houston’s restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia, and left a $500 tip for each of the 42 servers who were currently out of work, as TMZ reports.
The director’s tip was over 20 percent and totaled $21,000. According to the publication, Perry is a huge fan of the restaurant chain and often patronizes Atlanta’s Northside Parkway location.
Perry is known for giving back. After the Bahamas was devastated by Hurricane Dorian, Perry had a plane flown down to the island filled with supplies.
